Owning a house with hardwood floors, and four kids, I know first hand the dangers of kids running around in their slippery socks. Some kids sock manufacturers have started adding material to the bottom of socks to make them less slippery, but many still do not.
This new product would closely match the sticky mats that you often see basketball players step on right before entering a game. However the sticky substance of this product would be specially formulated to be used on cotton socks. Kids would step on the very stick mat and very eliminate the dangers of sliding around on hardwood floors. Similar to a post-it note pad, you can peel away the sticky sheet once it looses it’s stickiness.
