Bedside Body Temperature Monitor

Bedside Body Temperature Monitor

One of the biggest influences on the quality of your nights rest is your body temperature. Research suggests setting your thermostat to 65 degree each night to achieve a nice cool resting place. However, for me just one temperature all night never works, I am either too hot or too cold.

This new device idea would be an infrared temperature monitor which would measure your body temperature throughout the night. As your body temperature raises or lowers, it can wirelessly communicate with your home thermostat (i.e Nest) and raise or lower the room temperature. You could also connect it to a fan to turn on or off depending on your body temperature.

Basically one of these Laser Temperature Infrared Thermometer’s pointed at your neck all night.
