Brainstorming New Business Ideas
Working in a creative field, I am surrounded daily by smart, hyper-creative individuals. Each day I am inspired by the work we do for our clients and the people who generate an amazing volume of new ideas. Yet, as a Producer, I am often spending my time executing other people’s ideas instead of my own. Therefore, I am challenging myself to generate one new business, product or service idea per day (or as frequently as I can)
Inspiration for this challenge came from my colleague Matt Tepper who is about to wrap up his one year challenge. Most importantly, he has already started building out one of his best ideas, Peanut Gallery Comics. I hope to follow in his footsteps.
The rules for my own challenge will be simple:
- Each day I must come up with one new business, service or product idea.
- When time allows, I will vet my idea to confirm if it already exists.
- At the end of one year, I will execute the one idea which I (or my followers) deem most viable.
