When a loved one dies, you may not be sure if they ever created a Last Will and Testament. Or, if they did create one, where did they keep it? Was it the most recent version? Do they have a life insurance policy?
Let’s take the guess work out during what is often a difficult time for people dealing with a loved ones death. This new service, maybe run by the government, would store all relevant will information in a national database. This database could be tied to your Social Security benefits and keep up-to-date information on all death related information (i.e. copies of your life insurance polices etc.).
